Optical Brightener SWN is soluble in ethanol and ethylene glycol, acidic aqueous solution, resin, varnish and some organic solvents, but its solubility in water is only 0.006% . Commercialized products are generally applied in a solution type which is formed by salting with sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid or mixing with organic acids (such as tartaric acid, citric acid, oxalic acid) or adding solubilizers to improve solubility and dispersants. Optical Brightener SWN widely used for whitening wool, natural silk, whitening nylon, acetate fiber, triacetate fiber. Optical Brightener SWN can also be used for cotton, cellulose fiber, acrylic fiber whitening, SWN especially for cotton textiles whitening, can effectively improve cotton appearance whiteness.Optical Brightener SWN can also be used to whiten soap and washing powder, and can be added into synthetic washing powder to wash fabric to improve the appearance whiteness of washed fabric.

3.SWN ReferenceDosage:

(1) Optical Brightener SWN for cotton textiles: 50g-500g (0.05-0.5%) per 100kg of cotton textiles added with fluorescent whitening agent SWN.

(2)Optical Brightener SWN applied to plastic: SWN in the amount of 0.01-0.06%, and the corresponding processing plastic mixture can be uniform.

(3)Optical Brightener SWN For wool, natural silk and acrylic, generally in liquid state use.

Dosage of SWN: Wool: 0.05-0.35% ; natural silk: 0.05-0.4% ; acrylic: 0.05-0.8%

(4)Optical Brightener SWN can also be added to detergent and washing powder as a whitening agent, the amount of 0.001-0.005% .
